Attorney GAIL B. PRICE is a practicing real estate lawyer for almost 25 years where she works in the areas of Real Estate Law and Business Law, both transactional and litigation/ADR. Specialties include representing buyers and sellers in commercial sales transactions, representing property owners, anchor and other tenants in leasing transactions, strategic growth consultation, land use and entitlements, due diligence and title analysis, boundary disputes, easements and licenses, deed and finance documentation, real estate litigation/alternative dispute resolution and property tax appeals. Sub-specialties include shopping centers, supermarkets and restaurants. Corporate business matters including entity formations and maintenance, asset purchase agreements, licensing agreements, business agreements and vendor contracts. A few representative matters include soils subsidence/lateral support issues, quiet title, real estate fraud, broker and seller defense, tenants-in-common agreements, hard money loan documentation, and creation of limited liability companies for real estate development and ownership.

In connection with her business litigation practice, Ms. Price litigated many cases against insurance companies on behalf of policy holders who were denied contractual policy benefits after the Northridge earthquake. She has also donated many hours of pro bono work, represents non-profit corporations and served as a moot court judge and PBA Speech Contest Judge.

GAIL B. PRICE received her Juris Doctorate degree from Whittier College School of Law and has practiced law for almost 25 years; California State University, BVE, Magna Cum Laude; UCLA; SRA & AIA Income Capitalization and Advanced Real Estate Appraisal. Ms. Price has also maintained an active California Real Estate Broker’s License for 42 years and is a member of the CAR/NAR/PFAR and other related organizations.

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS

Gail B. Price is a member in good standing of the State Bar of California. She is licensed to practice before all state courts and federal district courts in California as well as the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and was sworn in before the Supreme Court of the United States November, 2013.

Ms. Price is past Chair of the Real Estate Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association (2001-2002), and past Chair of the Pasadena Bar Association’s Real Estate Section (2006-2010), and is a member of the Pasadena and Los Angeles County Bar Associations. Ms. Price is also a member of ProVisors and can be found on Linked-In.

OTHER PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Ms. Price began her career in real estate as a professional appraiser for savings and loan companies where for several years she appraised residential, income, new construction financing, take-out financing, construction inspection and small commercial.  She also holds a lifetime college-level teaching credential in the State of California and for 10 years was adjunct faculty at several Southern California community colleges and at California State University Northridge, teaching various real estate courses, appraisal, finance, escrow and business classes.

Voted a Top Attorney by her peers for 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 in the Pasadena Magazine.
